VOD: verse of the day

We are more valuable than sparrows!

Luke 12:6-7
6"What is the price of five sparrows? A couple of pennies? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. 7And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to him than a whole flock of sparrows.

It is nice to know that you matter to someone. I feel that our deepest need is to be known intimately be someone. Someone who cares for us deeply, and has our best interest at heart. That is how our God views us. He loves us so much, and he cares more for us than a whole flock of sparrows. He created us both, but He got down in the dirt and formed us with His hands. He knows us. He made us in His image, and I wish sometimes that I saw myself and others through His eyes. He never lets go and He is always there.
