Repentant hearts take courage!
Isaiah 57:15 NLTI refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts.
How many times do you find yourself in situations or doing things that you truly full heartedly decided never to do again? You've repented of this sin/action yet you find yourself doing the exact thing you detest over again. While Paul has written a verse to that regards, I find this verse in Isaiah to be encouraging to these situations as well. God knows that we will get frustrated and discouraged with ourselves, but here He promises to give us new courage (there is strength in that) to continue to work on overcoming that which we are truly repentant of.
