Love
Verse for the Day16This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
1 John 3:16
Red is the universal color for love. Red is the blood that flowed from the hands and feet of our Savior. He humbled himself to become an infant and walk among us-our Immanuel-then gave his life for us. Now when I see the red all among me, I am reminded of love. The love of my Father and my Creator. That love will never end and it is more than enough. I am so grateful for that love because it means that I am forgiven. I am cleansed and made new. Talk about the true meaning of Christmas.
