Prayerful, Fearless declaration
Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.Ephesians 6:19-20
I would venture to guess that only about 5% of the words that come out of my mouth are Spirit given. Words that are spoken direct to someones heart in clarifying the gospel of Christ Jesus. I hope that I'm wrong, and desire to think that more than 5% of words in my conversations are such...but I talk a good amount, so who really knows. I've prayed for a boldness of such since, well as far back I can remember is 2001, so 6 years! Let's say it's been an ongoing challenge for me. I have noticed some improvements, but I still desire to be more fearless in my proclamations of the gospel and frequently meditate/reflect on this verse.
