Proverbs 28:26

Verse for the Day
He who trusts his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely will be delivered.
-Proverbs 28:26

This was sent to me through K-Love and I looked up lots of translations. Basically, I think it is God telling us that when it comes to matters of the heart, we can be deceived by lots of conflicting emotions. When making decisions, or just everyday thoughts, we can not rely on our own hearts, feelings, etc...But we need to seek counsel from elders, wise counsel, and from God's Word.
