Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.

Growing up this verse was part of a song we would sing in church before communion...I always liked the tune of the music, but now I listen to the words and they are even more beautiful! My spirit is in desperate need of renewal. My heart is so filthy with bitterness, lust, jealousy, and unthankfulness...just to name a few of the issues I've been fighting the last 3 days. This is the verse I'm needing to pray into my life and meditate on...Lord, as it is your will, PLEASE, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit (your Spirit) within me!
