1 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. 2 From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise [b] because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings [c] and crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet: 7 all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Psalm 8
I love this psalm because it is David just standing in awe of our God. He is majestic. Yet, those powerful hands that formed galaxies and stars, but dimples on my cheecks and chose the color of my eyes. We are all the work of the Masters hands. I pray that I would see people through the eyes of the Creator, instead of selfish, evil eyes. We are all so special and significant.

This started as a way for Stacy and I to focus our attentions on Things From Above instead of the distractions, heart aches, disappointments, and false truths the world throws our way. I hope that through our sharings, all who read will be able to come closer to understanding the fullness of God's amazing love. ~Tamara

Matthew 5:3-12 (NKJ)3 â Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousnessâ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 âBlessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
