Waging War
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.2 Corinthians 10:3-5
These verses have so much power behind them. Demolishing strongholds in our lives is so important to become closer to God and each other. In the last 4 months I feel as though I have been challenged to work on breaking down strongholds in my life. It is amazing the amount of love and appreciation I have felt toward our Lord and Savior. We as Christians have mighty weapons given to us. The devil will try any way to get his grimy hands in our lives so that we won't use this power to it's full potential. This is why it is so important to take captive every thought and speak God's true against it. (Don't continue to think about thoughts against God's word, rather focus on His word that promises otherwise in truth) This is how we wage war.
