1 John 4:10 (NLT)

This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent
His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

Proverbs 3:7-8

Here is a verse that I read when I start over analysing, making comparisons, and trying to understand things on my own and not to God's grand plan.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.
Proverbs 3:7-8

Leviticus 26:12

Time for my favorite part of the day! I am so excited we are doing thisI dont know why we didnt think of it earlier. Ok this was a verse that was sent to me from Klove, but I like it. The whole passage is God speaking to his people and requiring obedience. He talks about not worshipping idols, and why would we. Idols are worthless, but our God came down from heaven to walk among us. Us who betrayed him and who slapped him in the face. We are His people. We belong to Him. He gives us commands to follow, and obedience is our faith in action. I just thought this was important because sometimes my focus is so inward on my problems that I forget about who God is. This is a great reminder. Hope you have a good day.

The verse:

I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.

1 Peter 1:3-7 (NLT)

1 Peter 1:3-7 (New Living Translation)
3All honor to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is by his boundless mercy that God has given us the privilege of being born again. Now we live with a wonderful expectation because Jesus Christ rose again from the dead. 4For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for his children. It is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. 5And God, in his mighty power, will protect you until you receive this salvation, because you are trusting him. It will be revealed on the last day for all to see. 6So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though it is necessary for you to endure many trials for a while.

7These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold--and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters,

I will be with you;

And when you pass through the rivers,

They will not sweep over you.

When you walk through the fire, you will

Not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

~Isaiah 43:2
